Noosaville Holidays

February 22nd, 2017

For many people going on holiday is about making memories with family and friends and that is what Ian and I like to do. We want to create a great experience for you on your next Noosaville holiday. Check in with us at Verano resort with a smile and a chat before heading to your spacious apartment and then taking a dip in the cool blue pool. When you freshen up make it feel like summer all year round with our beach inspired amenity collection infused with aroma essences of coconut, passionfruit, pink grapefruit and orange blossom.

Holiday Activities in Noosaville

We want to focus on local encounters when you visit Noosaville. Enjoy the simple but rewarding moments. Like taking a cooking class at FRESH natural Asian on Gympie Terrace, fishing along the Noosa river, taking time at the lookout to see the sunset or just sit back and relax on a cruise with one of the ferry’s or a boat hire. The kids are safe to swim and play and will feel a sense of freedom. Why not try surfing or stand up paddle boarding. The kids will love watching you try. The Noosa surfing festival is coming up and what a way to bond when you watch the national dog surfing category.

Plug into the local scene with a coffee at one of the many favourite local cafes, enjoy dining at a little known restaurant that the locals rave about, quirky shops and art galleries or miander through the markets listening to the music and soaking in the good vibes.

Noosaville is so close to everything you want and need on your Sunshine Coast holiday that you could put your car in our secured free parking and just walk. Enjoy the sunshine.
Ian and I have been busy in our tropical gardens and have discovered the Ginger factory at Yandina to buy luscious plants, the hinterland is only a short drive from Noosaville and the Kondallila falls are fast becoming a rainforest retreat for us on the weekends, before we head back to the headlands at Noosa national park for a swim in the surf and then into Noosa for a well deserved Gelato.

We want to have a sense of place that reflects our beautiful location. A sense of having a home away from home. Be part of our family and create memories for your family. We cater for large families and friend gatherings and want to make your Noosaville holiday plans a breeze.

Luxury Noosaville accommodation – Verano Noosa

June 10th, 2015

Here is a recent review of a guest staying at Verano Noosa…

We just got back from the most relaxing weekend at a tropical resort! We didn’t have to fly anywhere, or drive 17+ hours to Cairns…. we went just two hours north of Brisbane to the beautiful beach town of Noosa to stay at Verano Resort Noosa.

Verano Resort is technically located in Noosaville, which is less than a 5 minute drive from Noosa. This meant we were close enough to the beach, restaurants and excitement but far enough to feel like we could really relax at our own oasis!

Verano Resort is made up of bright, airy apartments available in either 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms. They’re spacious and inviting, and come with everything you could possibly need. Our unit had two balconies which were perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. We took advantage of the full kitchen and cooked breakfast in the unit each morning, enjoying our fruit and eggs out on the balcony. The kitchen was also perfect for mid afternoon snacks and wine before heading into Noosa for dinner. It wasn’t hard to feel at home at Verano!

The bedroom was separated from the rest of the living space with sliding doors. It was nice to be able to close off the bedroom, but it was even nicer to open everything up to really let the sunshine in! The unit also came with two bathrooms and ensuite laundry. I loved that I was able to wash and dry our beach towels before heading home.

The real highlight of this resort though is the outdoor area. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub surrounded by lounge chairs and lush tropical gardens. There’s a bbq area with tables and chairs, and plenty of spots to relax. The perfect Noosa vacation would involve the morning at the beach and the afternoon at this pool. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if someone wanted to spend their whole vacation in one these lounge chairs! You also need to check out the pool at night. If you thought the pool was stunning at day it’s even more incredible after dark when it’s glowing blue from the lights!

The location couldn’t be better, Verano Resort is across the street from the Noosa River. On our first day we walked to the river to rent a boat for a few hours, then in the evening we walked to the river again to watch the sunset. Having the river so close made this resort extremely convenient. We drove each time we went to Hasting Street in Noosa, but parking wasn’t easy to find so I’d recommend taking the public bus. There’s a stop just outside of Verano Resort and it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to get there!

Follow your nose: Noosa Gourmet Food Trail

January 21st, 2014

Verano Resort is located in Noosaville — close to the beautiful Noosa River, Gympie Terrace and Noosa Heads. Choose from a great range of fully self contained and spacious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. This 4.5 star Noosaville resort offers great facilities including pool, spa, sun lounges and bbq areas for relaxed dining. Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast is the perfect family holiday destination where you can do as much or as little as you like.

Taking inspiration from Australian Traveller Magazine, we thought we’d reblog some of their key findings on the Noosa Gourmet Food Trail. For the original version please click here. But for your convenience we’ve provided a snapshot of these wonderful ideas to add to your holiday experience in Noosa.

The gourmet food trail in Noosa starts at Tony's

The gourmet food trail in Noosa starts at Noosa Reds

  1. Visit the source: Tony Meijer, grower at Noosa Reds, supplies many restaurants around the Sunshine Coast his famous vine ripened tomatoes. Always the purist, Tony never picks the tomatoes green – Contact: Tony (07) 5449 1668 or noosareds@bigpond.com

  2. Head to Belmondos Whole Foods for a superb cup of coffee. The roasters use fine Arabica grounds and the milk for your latte is sourced locally from the nearby Maleny Dairies. Belmondos is a veritable gourmet food warehouse stacked with oils, cured meats, olives etc.

  3. River-front dining on Hastings Street. Food in Noosa is certainly not all just about the beachfront. Take a short ferry ride up the river to Rickys, an elegant river-bank restaurant where executive chef Glenn Bowman specialises in fresh; his delicate tuna sashimi is just one example delicious coming out of Rickys.

  4. Sunday in Noosa: Noosa Farmers’ Market. A wide range of Noosa’s freshest produce (and gourmet fare). Held at The Noosa Australian Rules Football Club between 7am and 12pm.

  5. Another Hastings Street restaurant: not just any restaurant, but one of the best has to be Berardo’s. The Uber-white interior signals fine dining, but the atmosphere is as casual and no need for black tie here. French chef Geoffroy Marcq has cooked in two-Michelin-star kitchens. Combine with the freshest Noosa produce and culinary magic happens.

Verano at Noosaville Accommodation is the perfect place for a relaxing tropical holiday, with everything at your finger tips and more besides…
